Client issues a brief that requires a selection of models - these briefs are frequently issued after hours

THE BRIEF:

• 6 females
• mature looking
• Resident in Cape Town
• age: older than 25, but younger than 50
• eye colour: blue
• hair colour: blonde
• Nationality: South African
• Height: Above 1,65m

Before any work can begin, the agent has to be open for business ...

DAY 1
The casting agencies go through their databases and select records for those individuals that have most in common with the specs on the brief.
Photograph and information is gathered for each model and attached to the records.
The records are then either e-mailed or hand delivered to the client for initial selection

DAY 2
Upon receipt of the records, client makes selection and then notifies the casting agency of his choice and, if necessary, makes amendments to the brief. This selection process may take some time.

If client is satisfied, the final selection is made and the availability of the models is established

DAY 3
Hopefully at this stage the casting agency knows which models are available and arrangements can be made for a casting session or final bookings ....
